Are you using Catia v5 !

Hi Hardi,

If you have a professional CAD Studio (AutoCad, Archicad, Solidworks), then you can
1. Load in both files (the new and the old)
2. Position them over each other
3. Change the material color and the transparency.

If you don't have access to these and would like something faster, I recommend using something like https://cadcheck.xyz

It was designed to quickly load in 3D files and PDFs, overlay them, colorize them so that it is easy to compare the differences. It is free to use and has premium versions if you need more advanced functions.
