Torsional Spring for 393 Newtons load
Guys. I need a torsional spring (single helical or double helical to withstand a force of 40kg ( 392 Newtons ). Can I get this spring with this much load capacity? Pin dia in the following image is 10mm and the length for the spring is about 50mm.
I can adjust these dimensions, based on the availability of the required spring.

If you want such a spring you have 2 choices.
1 Search spring manufacturers catalogs until you find one that will suit your application.
2. Design one to meet this specification yourself
We are supposed to be engineering professionals, you should be able to work out these 2 solutions for yourself, they are quite obvious. Forty odd years ago, before the PC and the Internet, these solutions came down to getting the printed catalogs from suppliers or searching through text books on mechanical component design. Now with the internet we don't need to do much more than a quick google search to find a solution to such a simple problem.
Like many of GrabCad members you have not bothered to fill out your profile, so I have no idea if you are an interested amateur, student, or even a qualified degree holding professional. Going by you needing to ask this question I hope you are the amateur or at worst a relatively new student, not someone who is actually employed as an engineering/ manufacturing professional.
