CATIA V5

Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently working on a modeling project using CATIA V5, and I could really use some assistance from the community. I'm beginner

I'm tasked with creating a highly detailed model of a tourist train for DELTRAIN company. The goal is to replicate the train as closely as possible to the real-life version. The project involves modeling various components such as the engine hood, headlights, turn signals, and many others (total of 24 components).

I've already gathered the measurements and specifications necessary for the project. However, I'm facing some challenges in accurately translating these into a 3D model, especially in ensuring precision and realism.

I would greatly appreciate any advice, tips, or guidance from those experienced with CATIA V5 or similar CAD software. Whether it's best practices for modeling complex shapes, techniques for efficient assembly, or recommendations for rendering realistic visuals, any insights would be incredibly valuable.

If anyone is willing to offer assistance, I can provide more details and share my progress thus far. Thank you all in advance for your help and support!

Best regards,

it might be best to ask the Group. You're more likely to get help from many CATIA users, then from just one or two.

What have you done so far?
