How to produce a sweep sketch? Problems with combining two sketches

I don't know if I'm doing it right so far. My target is to model a simple handle to carry a case. It would have the profile of an arc. So I created an arc on one plane and a circle on another plane, as separate sketches. Now I would need to combine the center of the circle with the head of the arc, but the constraints such as coincident are grayed out or I cannot get the two points visible simultaneously with the constraint selection.

Please note the picture attach to demonstrate my goal.

1. Make sure the arc sketch is visible.
2. Edit the sketch of the circle.
3. Use the Project command to project the endpoint of the arc onto the sketch.
4. Constrain the center of the circle to that new projected point. (If by chance the circle is already constrained to some other point, like the XYZ origin, you must first unconstrain it.)
5. Sweep the circle along the arc path
