What am I missing here? trying to sweep with no luck whatsoever!

Hi Guys,

I am trying to sweep a molding around a bent edge of a lift cabin and I can not manage to do anything with it frankly. DWG attached! If I move the molding towards the path it sweeps but I lose the exact size of my frame ( the exact path in red) and the left down corner turns out funny (also shown).
Anyone sees any challenge to solve this mystery for me, please?

Try exploding the sweep path down to 3d polylines

Hi Cliff, thanks, it sweeps now but still losing the size of the actual path for some reason and I often have this problem no idea why. Is there a rule how and where to place the object you want to sweep?
