In this tutorial we will see about some surfacing techniques with solid modeling.
This model is very unique.
This can be used for training 3d visualization. Engineering drawing fundamentals .
1. First result is Cross joint.
2. Second result Unique ball with two different 2 section views
( From on side its Circular and from other side its perfect square)

1. Step 1: Sketch 1

   Draw Circle with 100 mm diameter on vertical front plane.

   

   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

2. Step 2: Sketch 2

   Draw another circle on right angled plane with diameter 100 mm.

   

   
   

   
   

   
   

3. Step 3: Extrusion

   Extrude both circles with 500 mm length on both direction.

5. Step 5: Body intersect

   

   
   

   With different options you will get different results.

   1. With Shell applied 4 mm thickness.
