How do I taper a coil in Inventor?

Nuno has presented a very nice tutorial...
However, if you want to be more precise on how the profile is tend to a point you can use the "Loft" command as it can be seen below...
Nothing major just to have in mind an alternative option in case that you don't have the right value for the tapper field in "Sweep" command...

Step 1:
Follow the steps 1-3 as presented very well by Nuno...
Then instead use the loft command...
1.In sections you can choose the Circular Profile and the end Point
2.In rails click on the second bullet option and select the the helix
That's it you should have now your results for a Profile tending to a Point !

Step 2:
In addition I have added an extra profile randomly on the path to show that you can control this gradient transition even more...
As I said nothing major...

Note that for this particular example the mid profile is bigger to show the control of smooth transition among the profiles and the point...
